Nur ul Islam launches new website |

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Nur ul Islam has launched a new, comprehensive version of its website on October 5th, 2005.
With Allah's blessings, Nur ul Islam is pleased to announce the launch of its website (http://www.nurulislam.org).
It includes many features and lots of services.
Below is a list of new and enhanced features that are available:
- Innovative look 'n' feel with dynamic functionality.
- Animated menus. The menus on the right and on the left open and close whenever you click on the header of the menu.
- Searching capability. You can search all the news, announcements, bulletin boards, message boards, and articles.
- Announcements panel shows the latest hot announcements.
- The home page shows a summary of the most relavent topics. It shows the latest news and announcements, the events of the week, latest postings in the bulletin boards, and the pages and the articles that were added or updated recently.
- Website visitor counter and page display counter are included.
- Feedback form can be used to communicate with the webmaster directly.
- News, Announcements and bulletin boards lists can filter the items for your convenience. See instruction in the corresponding pages.
- Message boards were added to the website.
- New and improved membership services.
- Users can manage their profiles online. They can change their sign-in name, password, email, phone numbers, address, and any other information they want to keep up-to-date.
- If you fogot your password, don't worry. The system can email it to you automatically. Remember, you need to have a valid email in your profile.
- Did you miss some of NUI events?! Don't worry. You check the What Happened page to read more about some of these events that you might missed.
- We want to listen to you. We want to tailor our activities to meet your needs. Please participate in the Suggestion message board and tell us what you think.
- Check the For Muslims section. It contains some updated information about Islam.
This list describes some of the new features briefly.
The new version of the Nur ul Islam Website is expandable. We will be adding more articles, sections, features and services, Insha-Allah.
So, don't go away! Please, visit us very frequently.

2. O ye who believe! Violate not the sanctity of the symbols of Allah, nor of the sacred month, nor of the animals brought for sacrifice, nor the garlands that mark out such animals, nor the people resorting to the sacred house, seeking of the bounty and good pleasure of their Lord. But when ye are clear of the sacred precincts and of pilgrim garb, ye may hunt and let not the hatred of some people in (once) shutting you out of the Sacred Mosque lead you to transgression (and hostility on your part). Help ye one another in righteousness and piety, but help ye not one another in sin and rancour: fear Allah. for Allah is strict in punishment.-- Surah 5:2 |
