Assalamu Alaikum dear brothers and sisters,

"Whoever builds a masjid for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise."

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Bukhari & Muslim

This is a rare opportunity for Sadaqah Jariyah, a reward that continues with every prayer offered in this masjid for generations to come.

To those who have already given: JazakAllahu Khairan. We humbly ask you to give a little more to help us cross the finish line. To everyone else: please give what you can. No amount is too small.

Construction

  • The Grand Masjid as it stands: the grey rendered exterior with four blue domes and arcaded corner towers, its arched windows glazed in blue tinted glass, behind palms and the site fencing
  • The main hall from the floor: the octagonal dome opening framed in orange steel above the ceiling joists, the mezzanine gallery and arched windows below, and a scissor lift standing on the bare concrete
  • The full front elevation seen across the car park, with a boom lift, wheelbarrows, a sand pile and traffic cones on the working site
  • Two corner towers and their blue domes from inside the site, with a boom lift and a concrete mixer working below
  • Interior with the orange steel of the dome ring overhead, block walls lined with steel studs, arched window openings and a wet concrete floor
  • The octagonal dome seen from below, its orange steel frame open to the boarded drum above the ceiling joists
  • Close view of the dome steelwork: the orange ring and the window frames of the drum directly overhead, above the block walls of the hall
  • An open floor under steel ceiling joists, a row of arched windows along the block wall, a ladder, a trestle table and stacked materials
  • Steel stud framing dividing the side rooms, with ceiling joists overhead and arched windows in the block walls beyond
  • The Grand Masjid under construction: a worker in a raised boom lift beside the unfinished tower and its blue dome, with the arched arcade and the site fencing below
  • Volunteers standing in the courtyard between the finished white hall with its blue dome and the unfinished masjid wing, beside a palm tree, work carts and stacked building materials
