Aims and Objectives

  • To establish the tenets of Islam in accordance with the Holy Qur’an.
  • To educate Muslims and non-Muslims about the teachings of Islam using all halaal (lawful) means including but not limited to, classes, literature, magazines, newsletters, discussions, radio, and television programs.
  • To foster unity, goodwill, and brotherhood among Muslims and to cultivate tolerance and understanding among all peoples regardless of their race, national origin, religion, color, gender, age or beliefs.
  • To establish facilities of learning, worship, and care such as centers, mosques, schools, universities, hospitals, housing and libraries.
  • To purchase, take and lease, sell, receive by way of donations, gifts or covenants, property, movable and immovable, land or cash from members and other groups or individual acceptable to the Executive Council.
  • To establish and administer a special fund to aid the poor and needy.
  • To perform any other halaal (lawful) functions necessary to achieve the aims and objectives of the Organization.
  • To reflect the background, traditions, customs, and culture of the Founding and Primary Members in all activities undertaken, providing that this does not conflict with any other provision contained herein.
  • To operate as a non-profit organization in conformity with the laws of the United States of America and the State of Florida and consistent with the provisions contained herein.
  • To adopt positions in support of justice and human right wherever in the world these may be threatened or violated.
